If you would like to get involved with the ongoing GARDENING PROJECT please contact: Joan Grant 01590 673739.
A number of patients had commented that the gardens at the entrance to the surgery were not as attractive as the surgery. The Friends have now redesigned and planted up the flower beds making the entire area much more attractive.
During the summer wonderful Sunflowers were planted, which gave patient much delight when visiting the surgery.
The bench seating around the raised flower bed has been enjoyed by many patients and visitors throughout the summer, thanks to a generous donation by a friend.
Two Wistaria plants have also been donated by a Friend and these have been planted near the surgery entrance. It is hoped they will flourish and should cover large areas of the wall.
Autumn 2005 these plants are thriving and further shrubs are being purchased for seasonal planting. The money for these has been donated by Friends.
